Michelle Voegels, PMHNP performs diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and brief therapy/crisis management.
The office is staffed with a receptionist Monday to Thursday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM, appointment hours may vary. Please leave a message if we are unable to answer your call and it will be returned promptly, or when we return to the office if you are calling after hours.
Appointments can be scheduled beginning at 9:00 am. We do not double book, so you can be assured that the time you schedule is reserved for you. We ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you are not able to keep your appointment and need to reschedule. We do keep an informal waiting list for those awaiting an opening. Please don’t hesitate to call if you want to check for availability.
Michelle Voegels maintains a professional, cooperative partnership with her patients in which both parties have responsibilities to work toward agreed upon goals. Due to the nature of psychiatric treatment, a patient must be seen at least once every three months to be considered an active patient and to receive medication refills.
Emergencies, After Hours, Weekends, Holidays

During office hours Michelle will return calls when possible between patients. She makes a strong effort to return patient calls on the day received or the next day she is in the office. Please make sure we have a current home, work or cellular number on file. If you have an urgent need please make this clear so that we do not underestimate your concern. Please don’t hesitate to call back.
The routine practice of our office is to write a prescription to cover your needs until your next appointment. There should be no need for additional refills if you keep scheduled appointments or reschedule promptly. If an exception occurs, please call the pharmacy at least 3 working days before you will run out and ask that they contact our office for a refill authorization. Refills will be approved only for patients with a scheduled follow up appointment. Controlled substances cannot be refilled by phone and will only be rewritten during your next appointment.
We accept cash, personal checks, money orders and Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards. All co-payments, coinsurance and/or deductibles are required at the time of your appointment. If you are a private pay patient we require payment in full at the time of your appointment. As a courtesy we will bill any available insurance.

As a courtesy to my clients I will bill your insurance company on your behalf. It is recommended that you contact your insurance company to verify your mental health benefits. It is a client’s responsibility to determine your deductible and copayment/coinsurance. Full payment of your deductible and/or copayment/coinsurance is due at the time of your appointment.
There is a charge for appointments missed, cancelled or changed with less than a 24 hours notice. Please notify us promptly if you are not able to keep your appointment so we may contact someone on the waiting list. If you miss three appointments without notification you may be subject to dismissal as a patient.
Record Copies, Reports, Extended Calls, Letters
Due to additional time and costs incurred, there is a charge of $25 for record copies, extended or complex phone calls, and for letters, reports, disability paperwork, medication authorizations, or extended calls made to third parties on your behalf. These charges are generally not covered by insurance.
